Barack Obama’s 30 minute primetime infomercial

The Obama campaign just released their 30 minute infomercial.  I must say in my opinion it was a success.  The way it was filmed and presented was very inspirational, something Obama has been known for.  He showed struggling families and how he would help them and improve their situation.  For me personally, I don’t think I learned anything new about Obama.

Notice he did not say anything about McCain in the commercial.

My own opinion is that this was a very effective infomercial, probably one of the few that I have ever watched.  I think the Obama campaign did a good thing.  I don’t think it was over-kill or was too much.  It was informative, well presented, and stuck to the issues.

I’ll give you full props to the production of the thirty-minute ad. I wholeheartedly agree with your analysis of what is was designed to do. It was designed to sell Barack Obama to the American people. It was designed to show America how HE would solve their problems. It was designed to show America how George W. Bush screwed the American people, and how HE will save the day.

Barack Obama (as with all Democrats) think that America is great because of it’s government, and what they (government) can do for you. Conservatives think that America is great because of you, and what you can do for yourself. Don’t vote for a guy who wants to take something from somebody else and give it you. I call that stealing.

I totally disagree. He officially lowered the threshold for who gets their taxes raised from $250,000 to $200,000. That gave me a huge laugh, as well as an overwhelming feeling of confidence that McCain will win this election.

He actually brought up the war, and did not mention victory a single time, only how much it costs.

The spot said that people are struggling. The example he gave ofr people struggling happened to have a far nicer house than I have, and yet, I’m not complaining, nor am I asking/demanding that the government pay my bills for me. Perhaps these people can sell their luxurious home to accomodate for their priorities.

This was a colllasal mistake for Obama and will be a significant reason he will lose Tuesday.

My question to you is, will you be one of the idiots rioting in the streets when their savior loses? Um, can you say Odinga? Do your homework.
